There are a few arcade games that used the Amiga motherboard as their main board. The Amiga had the ability to do some amazing things out of the box and it had video and sound co-processors onboard allowing for arcade-quality games on the computer so why not use it for an arcade game?

- ALG games used the Amiga motherboard to drive a laser-disc player via the serial port and also inputs for coin mechs and buttons/light-gun via the joystick/mouse ports.
